Purpose of the job
2 female PA’s required for a gentleman in the Macclesfield area, SK10.
I have short term memory problems and have MS.
My interests are socialising at home and outside. I enjoy listening to Heavy Metal music, using the computer, and watching the TV. I like to go shopping, especially for gifts and cards for family and friends.
I like Crown Green Bowls and follow the Packhorse Bowling Club team, and I like to go to the weekly bowls matches during the season (one evening a week from April to September). I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with recipes.
Hours and rate of Pay
£11.50 per hour
12 hours per week (per PA) – days and times to be discussed on interview.
Main Duties
- Help me with preparing, cooking, or eating food and drink.
- Prompt me to take my medication.
- Empty my catheter bag.
- Assist me to the toilet, with showering, washing my hair and getting to bed for a rest, using a sling and hoist.
- Help me if I need to make or answer phone calls or emails. Take notes about things I need to remember, like appointments and people’s names and contact details.
- Help me into the car to go out, and out again into my wheelchair. (Training will be given).
- Drive me in the car to wherever I need to go.
- Take me to my appointments and help me manage my calendar and book future arrangem
