Working hours: 35 hours per week (Working between 10pm to 8am)

Additional Salary information: 10% night works allowance

Riverside house is supported accommodation for women aged 18+ and is a Lifehouse based in Canary Wharf, East London.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Support Team. You will work with our Support Workers to empower individuals to move on and break the cycle of homelessness. You will also complete day to day activities including administration tasks and reception duties to support the successful operation of the Lifehouse.

Key Responsibilities: For this Assistant level role, direct experience of working with homeless people is not essential. However, you will need to demonstrate to us that you have the understanding, willingness and motivation to engage with our homeless clients.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

• Motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes
• Improve standards by demonstrating own initiative towards problem solving which help benefit colleagues and clients
• Good customer service and time management skills with ability to prioritise workload
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient IT skills (including Microsoft packages)
